My lovely wife bought me a vintage advertisement for the "Gillette Fifty". If never heard of it, looks like a little treasure chest that came with 10, 5 packs of blue blades. The other day I saw the box on ebay, $14.99 or best offer... so I offered 12 bucks because why not save a couple? My offer was immediately rejected with the message "I only consider offers over the starting bid". Annoyed, but still wanting it I offered $20 which was immediately rejected as well with no message this time. I messaged the seller and said what are you looking for, does $25 get it done? Hours later with no response I bid $15.99 just to wipe out his best offer (the option goes away once a bid has been placed). Figuring I'd watch it and jump in at the end of it didn't go crazy I waited...and won it for his starting bid of $14.99. Karma I've got 10 packs of NOS blue blades waiting for it! Man, that's a great find! A little treasure chest indeed. Too bad Gillette doesn't still make something like that.
