There's not much I won't eat. Some other foods I don't especially like but these just aren't compatible with me: geese liver (the geese get force fed - therefore a big no-no in my book) Norwegian Fiskeboller (had those on my honeymoon to Norway - sorry, not for me)
Braunshweiger or however it's spelled is some good business. My serving suggestion is get a really dark rye bread, the toothier the better, put cream cheese on one side and braunschweiger on the other. Great sandwich. About 40,000 calories and if you eat two your arteries are going to jam shut. But good nonetheless.
And for those of you who are only familiar with the store-bought variety in a tube, fresh homemade smoked braunschweiger is a big notch above it in taste, texture and use of quality ingredients. I really HATED the stuff as a kid…..
