Looks like we've got a disappearing cursor at times in the text input boxes. No rhyme or reason that I can see. Android w. Dolphin. Doesn't seem to be an issue on desktop
Abandoned posts (a reply I decided not to post) stick around for next log in instead of getting flushed.
Hi My microphone option on the iPhone 5s doesn't work on the new upgrade. Is this something that can be fixed? Worked fine on pervious and fine on other web sites. Thanks for all the hard work!
As a follow up, a day later and that abandoned post was still waiting for me in that thread. I had to post it, then delete it to get it truly gone.
This happens to me too. If I dismiss the window, the draft goes away. I don't like the feature or it should be configurable by each user.
You'd like it if you'd ever typed out a long post and lost it for some reason (computer crashes, you hit the wrong button, or such). If you decide not to make the post, simply delete what you've written.
Even if you delete it, it stays. The only way to get rid of it is to dismiss the browser window and open a new one. Then it's gone.
HA! I found that there is a delete drafts button! Icon that looks like a floppy disk or car door, right side of the editor bar. Titled Drafts. Click and you'll see Save Draft or Delete Draft.
I'd be remiss if I didn't congratulate y'all for all the hard work that went on behind the scenes on this upgrade. I know from experience how hard Sparky works to get everything running smoothly with minimal troubles for us end users. Great job to Sparky and his awesome team, the update looks great, and the mobile experience is so much nicer!
One little niggle pops up on my with some regularity (tho not every time): the cursor disappears from the post (and reply) box while on Android w/ Dolphin browser. I haven't had the problem on Linux or winduz w/ FF. And edit post under droid w/ dolphin also doesn't work smoothly. You can select the word you want to edit, but then when you start typing the correction, it gets put at the beginning of the post instead of replacing the selection. I guess these are Dolphin issues?
