I've got a tub of that Route 66 in that scent. Which AS do you use with it? It's close enough to Pinaud Clubman, and Canoe is right there, too.

 

Never use AS, I just use Nivea post shave balm.

I've got a bottle here right now in The Traveling Box, and seen it on the store shelves. Your only post shave product? I'll have to try it, so I know if I like it! Prefer alcohol based splashes & scent to lotions and balms but quite a few folks do use the Nivea.

 

That's the one, also they came out with a new balm called Deep, it's more of a clear liquid and it's under five dollars at Target.

I prefer the slim adjustable over the Fatboy, but that's just me

 

The Slim get's into the hard to get spots easier than the Fatboy. It's more streamlined.

I tried the Nivea after my last shave. Reminds me much of the bottle of Cremo balm. During winter time / low humidity the added moisturizing will be welcome. Very light scent somewhat reminiscent to Proraso Green AS.

I've done my side by side shaves with both. Found I prefer the Fat Boys. They have a taller, more rounded door component as compared to the Slims flatter build. Been wearing a mustache since forever and the rest of my face is large so I've not had issues with bigger razor heads. Could be I prefer the shorter thicker handle to the thinner longer type too. I'm the opposite way with women but doesn't stop me from looking at either type. Vive la difference!
