Two sides one to many...gotta pay it twice the attention.
Ahh. I have been neglecting my SE's. Concentrated heavily on them during SEptember but only occasionally since then. I have a new-to-me cased Schick that I haven't cleaned up or identified yet. Think it's a G, but could be my first E type.
And I thought you were going somewhere else. As in;
Q) How do you tell when your girlfriend is putting on weight?
A) She fits your ex-wifes clothes.
Who said she was an ex?
I picked up a nice early G1 that I thought was a E4. Prolly going to sell it and make my money back.
January 26, 2018- Fatboy Friday
Razor: F2 Gillette 195 Adjustable (5)
Blade: Gillette Platinum Plus (1)
Brush: 30DC LE/Pure Badger
Cream: KMF fragrance-free
Post: Alum, Listerine, WH
It's Friday, so its time to bring out the Fatboy. For this shave, I'm taking a break from the Dorco Prime Platinum and breaking out the Gillette Platinum Plus. I didn't shave yesterday, so I'm working with an optimal two days of growth.
The result was that everything came together for a issue-free BBS. A pleasant end to the week.
D3 Fatboy on 9
Stirling Vanilla Sandalwood
Great shave this morning. Still not making a dent in the Stirling tub.

Great info! This is why I love this place. I feel smarter for it.
Gillette Fatboy (G3) Razor
Personna Israeli Red Blade
Frank Shaving Boar Brush
Mama Bear Obsessed Soap
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum After Shave
Does this count, the adjustment is on the wrong end. Only comes out two times a year in between SR.
Nice bottom dial................
Thank you sir
Excuse me, is not very dangerous the Fatboy at 9 ?

Very nice. I love seeing them in use. Thanks for posting.
There was a time, I felt as though it certainly could be.
9 is not a setting I would suggest to anyone just starting out. However, with practice, you can learn how to handle it on 9 with no issues. Technique trumps tools. Grasp the basic principles of wet shaving, know your gear, and you'd surprised what kind of blades you can lay against your skin and remove hair.
If so, but there are partners who must have a very tough skin or are accustomed to high levels of aggression, to which my skin is not accustomed. I use position 3 in the fatboy as well as in the adjustable schick and I am doing very well.

Great googly moogly!
Your just showing off....I like it!#
With good technique you can dial it up no matter the skin type. Beautiful razor by the way.
Ahhh ARKO. Awesome. Beautiful set up.
I will shave in a bit. My boring 1970 SA will look low grade here today. Lol
No way! I love my two ‘70 black beauties! Shave on!
Veddy nice shave today. @Bama Samurai sent me a box full of London goodness. The Boots shave stick he sent before has always done a good job. The bowl soap is just as good. Love the scent...easy to lather..and feels great. The after shave is a winner too.
Used the 1970 SA today set at 9 with a 5 day old Family Dollar Dorco. Easy DFS++ with no issues. The 30DC brush with the Tuxedo knot was awesome as well.
