Hi Jim. I was eyeing that brush last night. Looks good. The one with the boar/badger knot also looks great, but I've never used a mixed hair brush like that before.

My favorite Gillette. Here, it’s on a Titanium handle, the Destroyer II from DScosmetics. It gives it the right amount of balance, feel and weight in my hands. Never an aggressive or uncomfortable shave with the RFB. Without question the best vintage Gillette I’ve ever experienced. Paired with a Schick blade, it borders on shave nirvana in my experience. Great shaves to all…
This has become my favourite Gillette razor. I've always liked the simplicity of the early USA Superspeeds but they're a bit mild for me, and I also like more heft in a razor. This one almost has the blade feel of my USA Red Tip, but it's heavier - it weighs just a little more than my Slim. It's a 53-54 brass handled, PATENT PENDING Rocket, an HD500 (I think). It doesn't hurt that it was MADE IN ENGLAND...like me!
