1928 - 1929 Gillette New Standard set including the shipper w/ 2pc New improved razor. No serial # but style of razor head is that of the 126 which is a redesign of the 106 by narrowing the base plate where the razor sits as can be seen by how far the guard ends extend past the flat center portion of the base plate.
Here are some Sheratons. The one on the left in both pictures is a 1937 - 1938 and on the right a 1938 - 1940.
This is the 3rd variant of the US open comb Aristocrat sold retail between 38 - 40. This particular model was sold through the American Legion emblem catalogs and was sold to members from 40 - 42. The case is but the blade bank is probably not the original to this set.
