    yes,ok.both of you early superspeeds are newer than 1950.so both are slim head i believe.if you acquire an older one you will see the difference.1948-50 NDC have a notched center bar to accommodate blade quick dispensers,1947 is not.it is also reported as the best of the bunch shave wise.

    WHOA! Thanks for the great pictures ... I was aware of the hook on the center post for the blade from the dispenser but not all the other information.
    Nice! I love learning about this stuff. :)

    The build quality from that era is apparent, great looking razor once again

    Today I gave up trying to centre the blade on the one on the bottom: clear winner here I think:cool:

    cool New series razor.looks like it has the razor emporium repro handle.is that bottom razor a slant?.i thought the blade never lines up with slant razors..;)

    thanks, could be, I bought it 2nd hand. Had trouble with the Lo Storto before, the blade moves too much on the pins. Have tried this again today with a different blade
