i would have a better idea if i saw the top of the cap and the baseplate..in england the ball end handle came around 1950 so that's a start..the logo on the cap narrows it down to certain eras.am sure its a post war stamped baseplate with oval slots after 1949..

They both seem to be from the 50's, if i were to guess. The travel set is all aluminum except for the cap. The Cased tech is presumably brass.

occasionally sir. i would say you techs are from 53-60 ish as the tartan handle appeared in 61. 51-3 caps had frosted caps with your logo in the middle ,similar to u.s ones. british handles also differ from u.s ones near the ball end of the handle..

love it, similar to my 1930 2 piece deluxe, though not as well balanced.a heavier handle will fix that.the 2 piece is 17mm.i think the 15mm just has larger lather channels..both are nice efficient shavers..

Here is one not normally associated as a Gillette but the packaging proves otherwise. One Probak razor set made after the merger of Autostrop with Gillette. On one of the pictures you can see the shoulder style of the razor. I want to say they can be used to date this razor after the merger but according to the original patent this was one of the shoulder designs submitted prior.

Also from ebay, Gillette Trac II Twin Injector SE razor.

Far as I know this and the twinjector should be the same shaver and both should be able to use standard injector blades.

My NEW SC, and 48 - 50 Aristocrat...both are original condition (not 'restored'). NEW SC has the original case, gold blade bank, etc too. I have a few more lurking around..Black Beauty LH, Tech, Slim 'Twist'.

    Aristocrat (USA).

A razor some would argue is not one of Gillette's finest in various retail packaging. Pictures from ebay. Only question is do band razors count as carts or as SE for the blades.
