thank you Mike.the handle is from the 1950 ish french tech set..

 

1928 - 1929 Gillette New Standard set including the shipper w/ 2pc New improved razor. No serial # but style of razor head is that of the 126 which is a redesign of the 106 by narrowing the base plate where the razor sits as can be seen by how far the guard ends extend past the flat center portion of the base plate.

 

awesome set Andrew. Some hardcore Gillette guys would call it a 3 piece as the barrel isn't secured like the Brit News are..
