Razor: Gillette Fatboy E4- MFG 1959 4th qtr , excellent razor, l enjoy this a little more than the Gillette slim which is a also a good adjustable. The fatboy seems smoother because of the larger top cap possibly.
Blade: Gillette silver blue(2) excellent blade, Sharp & smoooth , top tier IMO.
Soap: Cyril R Salter Sandal wood, nice scent with good lather qualities at a reasonable price.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm tuxedo knot with black marble handle-great lather generator, cloud like soft tips + nice gentle scrub and lather painter.
Preshave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =excellent shave with my Gillette Fatboy + GSB blade.

No 58 with a previous “repair” and some plate loss, replaced the head assembly with a spare one.

Thanks Gary, I'm going to try and use a Gillette once a week (Saturdays) see you on this thread hopefully. Strange that Gillette only made a couple of SE razors, techmatics & a injector in my history realm I'm aware of.
