Excellent shaving cream! A little goes a long way, using cream the size of a large pea produces more than enough lather for two passes. Just make sure that your brush is damp, not soaking because otherwise the lather has large bubbles which means theres too much water in the mix. This cream really impressed me, because it lathers in about 20 seconds, and because its so quick to lather, ive officially been put off shaving gel for good. It takes the same time to lather, and you use less of it and still get a far superior shave. The lime scent is absolutely incredible and i cant believe that we're able to get such good shaving cream at such an affordable price! Thanks for the review @matthewoli98. I've tried the hard puck Godrej, but none of the creams. Always great to know about products from around the world and outside of the U.S.
Its great stuff! Our South African soaps are even better, especially the bundubeard soaps!!!! Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
Member @ Yehuda D keeps tell us that. Now we need to figure out how to buy them and get em shipped here.
Shippings the biggest issue, for me i can get them for an average of 5 dollar's each, and that's a 250g puck so extremely good value. If you do import, id suggest clubbing in with a few people in the US or Canada, and importing in bulk and then couriering them off locally once they get there, that's probably the cheapest option. I never imagined that I would ever say this but these South African soaps are tied as my favourites with Stirling. They’re absolutely magnificent - even the Reitzer, which is a very cheap pharmacy soap.
That's why there are fans of soaps like Arko, Palmolive, and Williams. Just because it doesn't cost much, doesn't mean it's not great shaving soap. (I found your Reitzer Review @Yehuda D )
Other south African soaps like the bundubeard 250g pucks are some of the best value for money artisan soaps in the world, about 5 dollars! And theres a wide variety of variations, some including strong menthol. Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
Thanks for the review! Peaked my interest so I might have to try them out. I just found the Lime and a Menthol Mist on the bay for 6.98 with free shipping from India, so that seems reasonable to me.
The lime and menthol are both great stuff! Just remember to rather start with too little water and gradually add more, i made that mistake my first time using Godrej. Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
I agree with your review also! It is a great cream, inexpensive, and available in most Indian Food Stores.
Unfortunately its more expensive here than in India, but its worth the price. The cheapest cream we get here in South Africa is the Pakistani jolly cream, which is pretty decent too. Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
I'm going to keep Godrej in mind for next year, on NB19 for soaps and blades. Thank you @matthewoli98 for the great review.
I can’t understand why here in Montreal these creams don’t exist. We have a large Indian community and a lot of them have grocery stores but they don’t bring them in.
