    Thought I would make up this thread because I like golf , going out for 18 this morning with a friend.:happy093: 2018_M3_Driver_3quarter.jpg IMG_3575-small (2).jpg IMG_3570 (4).jpg

I've always thought that comparing Golf to Wet Shaving was an apt analogy. Most people don't do it well and whole industries have sprung up around supplying them with high-tech solutions while not addressing the fundamental issues causing their problems.

For instance, the five blade razor with the flexible head is analogous to the composite driver with its polycarbonate shaft that promises to add 20 yards to every swing.

Hitting the ball in the rough reminds me of a weeks worth of beard, it's going to be ornery regardless.:scared011:

Only the leader of North Korea scored holes in one the first time golfing. He is probably the only guy to manage BBS first time wet shaving, too.

Winston Churchill once famously referred to golf as "a game invented by the devil, and played with tools inadequate for the purpose."

The same, I suppose, could be said of shaving.

My contribution to the golf/shaving comparison is to simply say that as you begin your razor progress, you're working your way out of the "rough".

Trying to find my golf ball under the leafs is like trying to find ghost hairs on my neck!

I never thought of shaving as comparable to golf. Which is understandable, since I can't play putt-putt, much less real golf. Fortunately for my face, my shaving technique is far superior to either my golf or putt-putt game.:happy088:

Technique is more important than equipment.

But trying out razors and soaps is a whole lot cheaper than trying out clubs and golf balls.

A bogie would be like a extra pass shaving to finish the task!

Personally, I'd try to avoid a shaving hole in one.

Compared to a Two pass shave almost to a tee BBS.
