good old colgate canned cream

i recently scored 2 lime cans for 10 bucks. not bad for 2.

i forgot how thick this cream was, thicker than barbasol ?

the lime is nice, not too sweet and natural smell

i need more shaving cream like i need a hole in my head, but once i saw this on flee bay i had to bid. also 33 percent more LOL. ... but man its thick, age did nothing

 

I'm a sucker for good lime scents. If you're ever keen to swap one, I'm your huckleberry.

 

I enjoyed shaving with Colgate, I guess back in my early 20's(thus 40 years ago, give or take a few).

 

If only it came in a tube as a lather cream!

 

I had a girlfriend that worked at Colgate back around 1980 and she would get me cans of shaving cream all the time. I think I had about 25 cans when we broke up. It was great stuff, and she was okay too!

 

Was it OK with her for you to keep the 25(presuming you did)?

 

I got a full can my brother, send me a im with your address

 

I guess they were my parting gifts. I also think they lasted longer than our relationship!

 

let's see.....25 Colgates, probably mostly at 11 oz....course we don't know if you used OTHER shaving methods during the relationship(just thinking out loud here)

 

hey paul, saw your other reply. i dont have original, just the lime. ..it was a ebay impluse. i had a awesome shave last night with it. its almost identical to barbosal, thick creamy and slick

 

It's pretty great to have a cream that is thick AND slick together.

 

well, another Rise to the trash-always nice to bring out a full fresh one.

 

I likey the lime.

 

I went through a lot of Colgate cans in my teens. I don't think I ever experienced the lime variety. I don't miss those shaves at all.
