Got my birth year razor!

    Yeah... but I originally thought that all you needed was a single birth year razor. I now realize that you cannot rest until you have one of each model made that year.
    <sigh>
    It's a "thing." You gotta respect the thing.

    Need the nickle tto, and the cough, cough (techmatic) ack.. not sure if there is an knack, Luckily I think the black beauty came out in 68 so I am safe there.

    I also accidentally found my birthday razor found a really dirty adjustable hopeing for a fat boy not to be it is a h1 slim handle so far 2 DFS's with it also got a 1954 z3...take care 45auto

    My most used razor is my birth year/qtr 40's style Super Speed Y2 - 1953.

    A :signs107: "Congrats on finding your Birth year " :happy088: I also found 2 of my birth year Gillette razors on eBay one was A buy now Gillette 1964 J1 flare tip SS, which is the right date and quarter for my birth year, the other one was bid on and I won Gillette 1964 J3 adjustable, plus a buy now not sure what year vintage Gem Micromatic bullet tip magic eye shovel head all in vary nice shape from the looks of it all just need a good cleaning i have to wait and see!!!

    I just got one of my birth year razors today myself. It is an F4 super speed flare tip. I also have an F4 fatboy coming in the mail and an F4 Toggle. I just finished cleaning up the flare tip and it looks pretty good. These 3 should calm my RAD (temporarily).
