Your material and process are miles ahead of what we used to buy from Brownell's for 1911's.

This is to touch base and ask if you would be interested in applying your skills to an unusual vintage German travel razor with a two-piece handle that I should receive in about a week.

I would like to make a financial contribution to the cost of your original and interesting project.

Please PM me at your convenience. Thanks.

I have to apologize to Bryan - he did some of his magic to my slim and to the blade cap for my Clix Bakelite razor. He did a fantastic job! I gave the Slim to my son who really enjoys shaving with it and is a knife and gun collector so he thinks this razor is the best one out there.

Thanks Bryan for all your hard work on this and I am sorry that it has taken me so long to post the pics for it.

The pic really does not do it justice. Not sure why the numbers look that way in the pic they are crisp and clear on the razor. I tried the slim and it shaves way better than before I sent it in to be coated.

I dont know Bill the numbers look different with individual cameras and the black is hard to focus on.

Since black is so popular I will get a new bottle. I hope the people don't mind waiting. I took on razor for an Air Force brother that is shipping out to Iraq and needs his razor coated. If he wants to take this little comfort with him he might jump forward on the list. Just know your not being forgotten just delayed a little.

As far as more razors to coat I need to get through the latest batch. More black is on the way lots of stainless left. I also have to take time with family. That said heck ya pm me if you can wait some.

Durability update on 3 piece it wares off on threads but it might be the ones I did pre blasting. Tiny places on tto doors as the blade curves up when closing.
    Be well

    Any luck replating an SE?

For the gun black to stick well, the old surface must be sanded well. It is pretty difficult to do that on an SE. I had him look at trying when he first got into this project. Maybe things have changed and his sanding equipment can get in all the small places that are hard to get to on an SE. However....

SE's are so inexpensive, it would be worth buying them and having them replated. I use an SE most of the time and have one that I like but needs some fixin' up.
