Sorry it took me 16 hours to respond My New Year's Resolution is to temper my time on the shaving forums and read more about babies since we are 3 months, now.
I am glad y'all hung in with me and I am looking forward to swapping some great items in and out of the Bawx...

Update: I found the box waiting for me last night after I got back from watching the LSU-Alabama game at my Brother-in-Law's house.
It was too late to open it last night, so I won't have a chance for the eye-popping opening until tonight.
Just wanted to let everyone know it arrived safely (in one piece, at least) as far as I can tell until I unpack it.

Anticipation... antic-i-paaaaa-aaaa- shun...

The Bawx shipped out today!

It is off to Blazeadam as Mikekim could not be contacted.

The first picture is the contents of the box when I received it (spread on the kitcehn table); the second is what I took from the box; the third is what I added to the box; the fourth is the departure point!

I tried to put a lot of cream samples and after shave/cologne decants for people to try (including Tabac, Florida Water, Pinaud, The Body Shop, etc.) as I think it may be appreciated more by shavers who want to try something new.
Travel safely... Geaux BAWX!

 

can i please get in on this? I am in canada. but have lots i would like to contribute please let me know

 

You'd have to wait until round 4 and I think this box is just for CONUS though, something about shipping alcohol containing products across the border, but I could be wrong.

 

That would be round 1 for 2012 - I wish I did not opt out on round 3 - I got some good stuff to go in!

 

Got it today, will go through it tomorrow.

 

Glad you recevied it safely... Tues to Thursday from LA to MI is pretty good.
A lot of folks wonder why we need the USPS, but without them, we'd probably have to do soemoen else's Ground Service and it would probably be 3-4 days instead of 2!
I'll give USPS Prioroty Service kudos! (Some of the otr services... well, not so much)

Put in:
VDH luxury soap
Jordan River Soap Co soap
Real Shacing Co cream
Lord L6 Razor
Star plastic handle razor
2 packs of deby's and one pack red ip.

 

Alright, got it shipped out today, really interesting being able to go through the box!

Joe, unfortunately the aftershave samples didn't make it through the trip. Only 3 of the samples weren't completely empty, and it ended up with a frankensplash again. Luckily triple bagging them prevented any of it from reaching the contents of the rest of the box. I didn't have any containers, so I just kept the three samples that didn't leak to prevent them from spilling again.

Sorry to hear the samples leaked. i hope there wasn't too much cleanup.
Those tops seemed really tight and I taped them, too! I'm glad they were triple bagged, too.
I am bummed about the AS samples. Hopefully, the three that made it are ones you wanted to try and you enjoy them.
The creams should have made it, though because they were in different containers and after all, they're creams.

I was also surprised that the containers had leaked given how tight they were.
After playing around with the ones that made it, I saw that putting any pressure on the cap while it was sideways would release some of the AS.
The thin method cream sample did leak a tiny bit, but not enough to worry about. I taped them all down just in case, and they are on the way with the rest of the box.

No worries about the cleanup. I was expecting the possibility of something leaking during the travel. The three that made it were av musk, barb pacific rush, and florida water. I'll definitely be trying them, and thanks for putting them together!

Hopefully it's arrived to Newb and he just hasn't been online to inform us yet since he was last seen on Tuesday. The next person on the list corey, though, hasn't been seen since 12/5/11 so I'm not sure if he'll still be participating or not.

 

How many people are left on this round? I'll be an old man and retired by the time it finishes up!

 

Should be with Newb soon if not already, then there's corey, then me. So it shouldn't be much longer... I hope.

Just saw the recent posts Had to run out and check the car port. No BOX yet. I've been on a killer work stretch, lately. I haven't had much time to check in. I'll post as soon as it gets in.
