whoever is after me there may be a couple of unused pucks of Tobac in there. I received it yesterday and the scent is overpowering, this is the first shave soap that is so strong it gives me a headache.
Will give it a try, going to pick up another glass sugar bowl at wal-mart and let it air out a few days. At least I won't have to buy a new air freshener for the shave den.:rofl
I have heard that Tabac is not for everyone. I received a sample awhile back and really liked it a lot. I bought a jar of it and found the scent in the jar was not as strong as my sample chips.

I just happened to pick up a puck of Tabac. I love it, and my wife loved it ( the smell) as well. The lather is just kickin.
The box did start packed full. I figured it will get thinned along the way, either by putting in less than is taken out, or by a PIF here and there.
I finally opened a puck yesterday evening. After opening it up for a bit the aroma wasn't as bad...I did shave with it and you're right about the lather. It was great....bottom line, there will only be one puck of Tobac in the grab bag after it leaves my hands. I'm not sure why the smell was so overwhelming, maybe it was that both pucks were packed in a small box made it seem stronger than it was.
Looks good to me. I've got my eye on some of that TOBS AS gel...maybe it'll make it all the way here. We'll see
Ooooooooookay, box is packed and postage label printed. USPS will be picking it up at my apartment front desk. Also, I snagged the bottle of M&L Kananga Water - not so much as I wanted it but I just couldn't get it to fit, plus the bottle was leaking slightly. Worried about KiltedShaver. He hasn't posted since Feb. 17, the post in this thread saying he was in. I sent him a msg a couple of days go giving him my address. He hasn't replied yet. Hope he's OK... And he's next to receive the box from Ocharlas.
From what I can gather from his Twitter feed, I believe he was in Utah for a few weeks and has now found a new job. Don't quote me on the whole Utah thing, but I do know he's starting a new job so he's probably been swamped with that. I'll give him a holler (tweet) if he doesn't pop-up.
I haven't heard from him either, if I don't maybe we can just slide him down one stop - shouldn't make much of a difference. By the way, even though it's a flat rate box, would there be any issues if I were to send it fedex? My work schedule makes it difficult to get to the post office, and fedex comes right to my job. Just wondering, no big deal either way.
Hey, if you want to ship FedEx, go right on ahead. The whole USPS Flat Rate thing was just to keep the costs even for everyone regardless of weight and zip code.
Kiltedshaver / Aaron is moving, but just to the other side of town, no the state, so all is good. He should be contacting Olivier soon, if not already.
