Grab bag

This is what I put in the box. The Lervia is a shave soap that worked well for me, but I didn't care for the scent. There is also some SCS Juniper Mist shave cream, a GEM Micromatic, GEM Push-Button, a bottle of Mennen Cooling Blue, and some assorted blades.

 

So whats the story one the next round?

I don't know about just the U.K....I know Over5feet was wanting in on the box action. If you expand the box to the E.U and the rest of the area you may end up with a few takers to start a box on that side of the globe.

I dropped it off at the post office last week. I called that post office today and they told me it left that post office the same day. So, as far we know it's still in postal land somewhere. The box did say "Liquid" on the outside so it could have been put in the wrong bin even though it was in a flat rate box. I only paid for delivery confirmation, so I'm afraid I don't have any more information at this time.

OOps, wrong box as I was blinded with the beautiful orange and black rich colors and mistakenly thought this was the one with the blades. I think Jeff and Etoyoc ...coyote spelled backwards...I like that now that it has been explained...cleand out the box and added other nice things before sending it along. So, we have them to thank as usual and they are nice people I have found.

Thank you for quick update. I haven't seen the updated list, so it looks like it expanded. Last information about it was that I was the last person to be on the list before wolfman.

This is great! I can't wait to put some stuff and get more stuff. Black tip wanted, hopefully more razors are there this time around.

Hey guys, sorry for not checking back and posting sooner. Jeff and I had conversation about the box because I was starting to wonder if it got lost in the mail. He mentioned that it was in a flat-rate box, but it was marked liquid. If his post office follows the same rules mine does (and I would think it does) this box had to be shipped ground and was labeled liquid so that it would not get shipped priority like a normal flat-rate box. Of course this means a longer wait period in shipping, but avoids the fine if the box gets shipped air and something leaks and they find that there is liquid in it. (I've been involved in/ran a few PIF's between the three shave forums I'm a member of so I have some experience with this )

Anyway I'm sure the box should be arriving sometime this week. As soon as it gets here I will be sure to go through it as quickly as possible and mail it back out. I'll be sure to keep you guys posted as well.

 

Stopped by the post office yesterday to inquire about the box and they had not seen it yet. Only says it was accepted by the Pasadena post office. Hopefully it's waiting for me when I get home today {fingers crossed}.

BTW, yesterday i finally tried a new sample from the previous box. IT was the Kiwi and Banana cream. WOW, smells so nice. Though, the foam is not that big. I will be experimenting.

 

Jeff, the guy before me, is from Pasadena, TX. I'm in Rock Island, Illinois. It hasn't gotten to my post office yet AFAIK. It's been at least two weeks since he sent it out so I have no idea what's going on.

 

I called customer service today, and while I did not get any more information, I did submit the problem and I hope to hear something within the next 2 business days. I will keep everyone posted.

This rememinds me the same problem I have with USPS. I have 2 Large boxes still pending, no information yet. IT has been 2 months already. I have lost hope!

Please push the manager on that postal office. I don't like their policies where it has to take at least 14 working days to put a trace. Make me wonder, 14 days... By that time, if it got lost... For sure it is now lost!
