As for rolling my own smokes? If I buy a pack of ready rolled, they'gone in nothing flat it seems. Too easy to grab one and burn it. I have to THINK about twisting one up and it cuts down immensely on the amount of the damn things that I smoke. ;)

That Primble is a nice razor. It just didn't shave right for me. I like the heavy grinds and heavy weights. LOL

I've had a few Primble pocket knives over the years too. Usually ended up trading them off for something else.

I do that a lot. Get to play with more junk---err NEAT STUFF that way. :p

It has been along time since heard somebody called them "Ready Rolled". That is why I roll mine and I love Drum.

I have a fairly substantial knife collection my dad left me when he passed. He was a lifetime NKCA member and a well know collector and appraiser of anything with an edge...

My dad is the same way. In fact I have a quality knife collection just from the gifts he's given me over the years. When I walk into his office he'll have 10 or so flippers sitting out on his desk. Needless to say, he's extremely fascinated with my straight razor.

Here's a NOS CHALLENGE RAZOR WORKS. Challenge changed their name in 1898 to Challenge Cutlery Corporation so this one predates 1898 and post dates 1891.

    Interesting unknown "chopper" from Sheffield.

CASTSTEEL SHEFFIELD with a crown are the only markings.

    Smiles all around last night.

Got this 170 year old Wostenholm ( not George, the OTHER one LOL) honed up and running. It's now firmly ranked as amongst my top 4 razors to shave with. :)

Got the old W&B "Chinese" razor done this weekend too. Not quite happy with the edge yet. It's got a lot of hone wear and against my better judgement, I honed it without any tape. It's shaving OK, but just not quite like I hoped it would.

Amazing as usual. Is that Wostenholm real tortoise shell?

    Thanks. :)

It sure looks like real tortoise, but I think it is actually nicely dyed horn.

Just got some more pics uploaded from part of a recent haul that I got a month or so back. There are more, but the rest look pretty rough at the moment.

Still waiting on the second box of the haul. I guess it's on a slow boat from England. At least I hope it is. :(

An old 7/8 King that has been up and down a hone a few million times. Even though the address is New York, it's a Sheffield razor as King was an importer.

Cute little 5/8 W&B with bone scales. Gonna give this one a test shave here in a bit.
