1947 Gillette Super-Speed Razor

 

Are all of your razors replated?

 

No. Only five are. Check My Den. These Super Speeds are all original finish.

 

Beauty! Replated? I like it! It looks like the "little brother" to my Exec:

 

Wow, that is crazy looking! Was it left here by some alien?

 

Herm,
Yes, it's replated. This was my first razor, way, way back. An N-2, replated by Relieable Electroplating. I had to paint the numbers myself. Used Chris Evatt's technique, as you did. THX for the tip!

 

Problem is that my finger is always black! LOL

1946/7 Gillette Aristocrat Closed Comb Safety Razor with original leather case and blade bank

* USA single ring dates to 1919, my Father's birth year.

One more photo. Same order heads first.

 

The head is a Canadian Patent 1932,but the manufacture date is Z4, which is 4th quarter of 1954. You were correct the first time.
