Greater Pacific Northwest meet **Sat. Sept 13th in Seattle**

I tried to spread the word as far as I was able. IMO every forum has something unique to offer. This can lead to some people sticking around one or two forums and maybe not hearing about this opportunity to meet other like minded people. Honestly, this has been quite a learnig experience for me and I expect (hope) the turnout will be even better next year. MAYBE we caneven set up a two day event!

 

Sorry that I can't be there - it would be great to meet some other local shaving enthusiasts. I'll be off the grid this weekend at Stehekin on Lake Chelan.

 

I wish I still lived in Spokane.

Next up is the kind donation from Petal Pushers Fancies. Petal Pushers Fancies has donated a tub of their finest shaving soap (“Briar” Kokum Butter Shaving Puck). I have heard very good things about their products and am looking forward to seeing how it performs for the lucky recipient.

Bringing my Nortons, some Barber Hones, and my DMT lapping plate. Might bring my Zulu as well just to be able to compare it off of Glens.

 

What do you charge for pinning?

 

Cool Matt, bring yours and I will bring TC's and mine so we can compare 3 at the same time on the same table with the same razors that will be very interesting..

 

I can bring some basic pinning supplies to tighten up anyones razor. Could even re-pin if needed, but would have to use the side cutters (can't save the original finish washers).

 

That would be great my worsty needs pins I still have the original wedge blade is in the tumbler and I will be sanding and buffing the scales.

 

I will bring a selection of washers and we can make it look good.

 

If you are bring your pinning stuff Matt I can leave mine at home

Yours is probably a bit better quality... but I only have a 45 minute drive to get to the meet I already have a bunch of stuff boxed up and ready to go.

 

Next in line is Captains Choice “Fine Aftershaves and Essentials”. Captains Choice is well known for their aftershaves and did not disappoint with a donation of a large bottle of Bay Rum aftershave and three sample packs containing 4 of their aftershave scents (North, Lime, Bay Rum, Cat O’ Nine Tails).
