About a month later that the last pic, the 'stache is finally taking some shape and holding up pretty well. I've not decided if I go for the full handle bar curl or stick with 'open wings.' Right now I'm sort of cross between Wyatt Earp & Colonel Sanders….
A man after my own bars! Your 'open wings' is how I like mine, kinda "William Taft-ish", but a little neater.
Needs a little trim... Had mine since highschool (1989ish), only shaved it off maybe 8 times since. Immediately start growing it back the next day.
I'm still undecided how far to go with the end curl. Each step seems to require progressively more maintenance.
I try to pull of just a stache and I look Italian. I also tried waxing the stache and it was not fun or easy.
Yeah. Kinda like owning a dog - some folks won't own one because they don't want to have to feed, walk, clean up after it, etc. Some don't mind the work. The 'stache takes work that I don't mind doing.
Nice! You should post that over here as well: http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/what-do-ya-look-like.59/
Great thread, guys! I have been growing a beard for couple months now myself. I have a question for you fellows! I have one weird hair that sticks straight out under my nose. I have tryed G2B, clubman wax, and beeswax but nothing will hold it down. Any ideas?
Tweezers. It's just one hair. You won't miss it. I've "fired" more than one unruly 'stache hair. Sacrifice the one for the benefit of all.
