Gents, Shaving is not just removing hair, it's a moment when you forget mortgage, work, all drama and you are totally concentrated, kind of meditation. Tried multiple cartridge razors and Wilkinson Protector seems to give the closest shave. The problem is I don't care much about the plastic Protector 3 handle, mine has a football pattern. Managed to procure load of cartridge refills and Merkur pivoting cartridge adapters for Schick/Wilkinson, now need to find matching handle. I know the Merkur MII is available online, it's just too bulky and heavy. Looking for something light for carry-on purposes. Prefer vintage options, they have more "soul" compared to modern garbage.
