Hi, thanks for the welcome. I live in a city called Toyama, which is on the north coast, close to the sea.
Cool! I've been to Japan a few times, but bot up north. I have only been around Tokyo, Yokohama and the Chiba prefecture. (My bro lives in a a small town outside of Tokyo, I think Matsudo). I hear the north OS beautiful, and that it has a climate more similar to us in canada.
We get plenty of snow in winter, and hot and very humid summers here. Autumn and spring are nice though! My favourite places in japan are Kyoto and Hiroshima. Fingers crossed we'll get to live there sometime in the future!
