If you do get friction, it's just good natured ribbing. Generally DE, SE, and straight razors rule. There's even a discussion forum for cartridge razor users. Electric razors aren't often spoken about, except as something someone used to use. If your electric is a wet or dry type, you're still Wet Shaving!
Steve, welcome to The Shave Den. I'm glad you're here with us. My name is Charlie. I've had an electric razor for awhile and just figured out it's a wet/dry shaver. I'm gonna try it with a proper lather and shave brush. I bet it will do a great job.
