Welcome, gatto! I've been using personal computers since 1982. Started with a VIC-20, then moved up to a TRS-80 CoCo, a PC AT, then a slew of homebuilt PCs running Windows 3.1, 95, 98, Me, and OS/2 Warp 3.0. Now I'm running a Mac Mini under X.3.9, an HP Pavilion under Debian, and a Power Mac 7200/90 under System 7.5.5 (gasp!). And I fix everyone else's old PCs. Seems I'm the only guy around anymore who can write an AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS file to make a CD-ROM work in DOS mode. Does that qualify me as a geek?
Ah.... its been a long time since I've edited those 2 files... I remember tweeking those files to get some extra KB of available memory... does that makes me a geek too? :ashamed001
