Thank you Scott. She seemed to hone up nicely, so we will see how I did this evening.

 

I feel fairly confident that I found the maker of this blade... Nicolas Gervais of Antwerp, Belgium.

Very similar attributes and feel like brothers when held, and the reverse tang stamp looks like a winner.

I feel pretty good that the Suy is a Gervais brothers product.

Could be from his brother Jules, but my money is on Nic.
