How do you dip?

If you face lather exclusively, then the spoon won't work or not well. An alternative to dipping your brush is to spread the cream on your face like a lotion and then face lather. You can even rub the cream into your face with your fingers and start the lathering that way before you introduce the brush.

This method was handed down to Brokashaver by the Shave Gods in early 82 B.C.

 

I just swirl my brush around for a few seconds then 2 taps.

 

I primarily use a Simpson Wee Scott and swirl the brush directly in the tub.
