JayKay 3000 posts and all I got was this lousy title

Thats what I meant. I love the brush I have. $35 and I've had it for 2 years. Its maybe shed 5 hairs in its lifetime. I would highly recommend it over the C&E.

    Hi Ronnie and welcome

I'm also in the UK, Swindon. Whereabouts are you?

The men-u boar was my first brush, from Boots, it's a pretty good starter brush, I think it's made by an Italian outfit called Omega. Cost me 9 GBP.

If you want to go for a badger two brushes that are often recommended are the C&E BBB

    or the Kent BK4

Shop around and you may get better prices. Buying abroad is a bit of a killer with the exchange rates. Let me know if you need more info.

    cheers

    Pete

I'm confused. You're in the UK and having trouble finding a brush when the rest of us are spending beaucoup bucks for English made brushes?

Sure it's lasted 2 years -- he only shaves twice a month! :happy102

And isn't its lifetime still in progress? :think002

not really trouble finding a brush, just need info on the right one.
if you're in the states it's probably cheaper for you to buy from the u.k. at the moment than it is for me

even with the exchange rate, this option is attractive to me: shipping aint too bad.

what do you reckon for a happy medium of niceness and value, bang for my $. how much better is silvertip than finest? are they both much better than the best?(from this site selling the knots)
