Beautiful find. I think it looks like a Vision. What do you think.

Yup... this was a very interesting video. Kinda makes me go want to buy a new razor every time I see it. Must be some subliminal messages in that show.

I went on ahead and changed the title to Vision for you Dan.

Also if I'm not mistaken, the parts that they show being dipped in the tank from 2:16 to 3:00 are Futur handles.

Your right there, I went and re watched it to check that, same treatment for both handles, they just look different and use a different frame when they are electro plated

Nice video, the part about a blade lasting 6 shaves though is rather concerning, who here gets 6 shaves here out of almost every blade they use, I can sure tell you I'm lucky to get more than 3 shaves

Three 3 pass shaves = nine 1 pass shaves?

I can get 6 shaves out of most of my preferred blades and that is with 3.5 passes a shave. However, just because I can get more than 6 shaves doesn't mean that in terms of comfort it isn't better to switch at 3, 4, or 5 shaves. For most blades though, 3 is the usable limit.

Hand stropping gets me seven 3-pass shaves out of every blade I've tried, both DE and SE.

I'm only getting about 3 shaves per blade now, but I used to push a blade to it's limit! That's when I had razor burn always on my neck and didn't know why. When one of the guys at work told me he threw away his blades at 3 shaves, I couldn't believe it!

Nice video. Amazing how simple things are often so complicated.

Thanks Dan, it is a wonder that these razors sell for under $150 instead of $500 with all of the molding, plating, assembly, multiple baths of zinc-chrome-matte-ect. It is a very involved process. Mine is easy to assembly and dis-assemble for cleaning and lubricating with that little slotted cap:thanks
