How many brushes of each type do you own?

There are only two types of brushes: @Jayaruh and non-Jayaruh. I have two JR's and one non.

The opposite of that, of course you know, is a "gerund". BTW, somebody has to preserve our language. :)

Or is it "to gerundify"? ;)

Okay, okay. But I still don't like it (even if it is itself an example of verbification :))

    2 synthetics - Omega S10065 / RazoRock Disruptor

    4 boars - VDH basic / Semogue 620 / (2) Omega 10086 travel

    1 badger - Vulfix 2006

I use the Omega synthetic most of the time. Just the right size for me. Dries in a jiffy.

The RR synthetic is just a tad too big. But it whips up copius amounts of lather. Can't beat the price.

The Semogue 620 is a treat.

The two little Omega travel brushes are great for breaking in a new puck of soap if you lather in the container.
    Perfect for travel too.

The VDH was used for years and is now retired. Decent brush for the price.

Could not stand the floppy badger. Never gets used.

I like a lower set badger too. Glad to hear you still have it.

    Boar = 1

I wonder how many brushes Churchill owned. I wonder if he had a favourite?

Truefitt & Hill claim he was a customer of theirs but whether or not he bought brushes from them I don't know.

He apparently used Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet Cologne, but there's not much else in current Churchill literature.

Yeah, I've gotten rid of most of my "collectible" brushes, but that one ought to pay for my coffin when I kick off this mortal coil. :) Hmm...probably should itemize my collection and put values down for my wife. I'd probably come out of the grave if she sold it at a yard sale for .50¢.

He also was known to use a valet autostrop and rolls razor.
