Humm reading this makes me think. If this place goes well maybe a TSD brush is in order????? (if only you can see the evil grin on my face). But now that I say it I just may have to be heading the project.
Ahh, but do you have an SUV and a flame thrower?!? Or maybe a boat? :sport036 You know...for the stress tests! :happy001
Don't worry I have plenty of crazy friends who have access to things they shouldn't. Got to love the U.S. Military :rofl
uh, let me see. 5 in hand and 1 pending Omega Boar (2) One for home and one for work No Name Badger - Work Rite-aid Boar - Work (Junk. May use to clean stuff with) C&E BBB - Home Pending: B&B 2006 Ebony Finest Silvertip Badger
PottyDoctor's Shave Brushes Omega Boar Brush -- very rarely use this one. A little too scrubby for my tastes. C&E Best Badger Brush 20mm -- my favorite soap making brush. I would prefer slightly softer, but I don't think it would be as good at making soaps explode with lather. I use this brush once every week or so. Vulfix 2235 Super Badger 23mm -- my first Badger brush when I started wetshaving again [mid 2005]. Slightly floppy, but oooh so soft. Great cream brush. Still in my rotation; love the extra long handle. A great value in a brush! Savile Row 3120 Silvertip 20mm -- soft on the face, surgical precision, great on soaps or creams. The smallest brush I would ever want, handle a little small for large hands. ShaveMac 22579 Silvertip 23mm -- my go to brush! Soft on the face, superb cream brush, creates exploding lather. Probably the largest brush I would want. Love the faux horn handle, just the right size. Shave Brush Wish List -- Savile Row 3722 & 3824. C&E Super Badger. Possibly even a Kent or Simpson. PottyDoctor....who started out looking for a brush & ended up with a new hobby [aka disorder, obsession]???
Yup. I've got it! Bad. While eagerly awaiting my TOP brush, I really have the desire for a BK4 (after browsing the Kent thread) or I have thought about a Shavemac. Hmmm.....
What are you? A mind reader? My sister sent me a gift certificate last month for Bayside Brush Co. While they are HIGH on their Kent prices, they have Altesse brushes on there that seem more reasonable. Only thing is, I haven't heard ANY buzz about Altesse, even over at TOP.
Only the wit of a woman could come up with that one! Congrats JoAnna...that's one funny line! Ya gotta love this place!
No, not a mind reader. I'm a woman and a mother, and I know how most men are. Especially you gents. Thank you!

Have I ever mentioned that I really LOVE my BK8? :drool I don't know the BK4, but at half the price, I'm tempted to learn!
1 Men-u barbiere boar Not bad. A bit smelly. 2 cheapo boar brushes (one is very ratty from use, but super soft) I love the ratty one. Makes great lather. On the way: Men-u Premier synthetic brush And that's it. I'm not planning on buying any more. . .I think.
