Nobody knows for sure. Most are quoting what they have read on forums, as most of us change products so much. That there is no way of really knowing. Now.... @PanChango might be more accurate. I believe I read he uses one product at a time until it ends. I don't know if he keeps track how long it takes.
Yep.....it is something I just got to know! Been out of town is why it has been awhile. But I'm going to do it! Even though I really wanna use other stuff!
Hahaha that's awesome! I would love to know. You could use other stuff. What matters is that you keep your count. You don't have to have the results ASAP. Or maybe you do hahaha
Keep in mind that if you are reading it on the forums, it's cause one of us wrote it! Glad you are doing this, it takes some dedications, but it's kind of fun to see the numbers rolling in. I have been using one puck at a time for over three years now and do track my usage rates - which is simple enough when you only use one puck at a time. I'm interested to see what numbers you get. I last used Tabac over 2 years ago, but have another puck in the lineup about 6 soaps from now (currently on DR Harris Marlborough, then Proraso Soap Sandalwood, then Stirling Sandalwood, then Queen Charlotte Soaps Esquire, then Mitchell's Wool Fat, then Tabac). The last time I used Tabac I think I was too gentle with it, I ended up using only 0.72 grams per shave. I think it is quite possible to use as little as 0.3 grams per shave and think that somewhere between 1 and 1.5 grams per shave would be a sweet spot. Anything over 2 grams per shave would be impressive with Tabac!
