I say the same with antibacterial wipes/sprays/gels/etc....
Brad Stine has a hilarious bit about antibacterial wipes:rofl

I call it my spin cycle....oh wait, did I say that out loud?

EDIT: but seriously, I can get by on one a week, but there is no set schedule. You're clean when you get out of the shower, the only thing, so I'm really not concerned with virii and bacteria, mildew and mold excepting

EDIT, Episode II: I intended to clicky option 3, once a week, but my screen scrolled while clicking (slow internet today caused lapse in response to my scroll wheel) and accidentally clicked 4

Fresh towel every time. Issue I'm very sensitive about, don't compromise on. ;)

Fresh towel every Sunday. Why? No idea, simply the day that SWMBO has decided that towels will be changed.

A new towel every shower? I mean, you did just wash yourself, right? Is there really that much residue that you need a new one? That's hardcore.

This is why I shower before bed, keeps sheets clean longer. Good thing I am not a night sweater.

My thoughts exactly, of course being in the service you get used to having dirty laundry and being dirty in general. My hyprocondria (sound that word out folks, I never won a spelling B) went way out the window.

Me? 7 towels a week. My Wife? One a week. I think she's a Philistine. She thinks I'm nuts.

    Doc.

I have never even questioned it, I have always used a new towel with every shower.

About once a week is sufficient, anything longer and the towel starts to smell a little moldy.

For guys who like variety in the scents of their shaving stuff, y'all sure are boring when it comes to the scents of your bath towels. I have a full rotation myself of week-olds, month-olds, years-olds, and even some fragments of material I am not certain were ever towels. It helps keep things interesting and scentsational in the lavatory

One bath towel as well as one hand towel per week is our norm. It can happen that we go over that time, but not too often...

Daily, I work in healthcare and know what lurks in hot damp environments. Many of the patients I work with have less than stellar hygiene. Recycling towels just gives me the heebees.
