How often should you shave?

I shave every day, sometimes I have 2 shaves if the first was really early in the morning and I have to look respectable in the evening, but then again I have grey steel whiskers that grow at the speed of Jacks beanstalk.

I shave every day so as to look presentable. It is my belief that, given the right equipment and technique, a guy should be able to shave in comfort every day if desired. For every face, there is just the right combination of razor, blade, soap or cream and aftershave. The key is to find really good combinations and refine one's technique. Forums like The Shave Den are invaluable in that regard. The large variety of blades, razors and other shaving accoutrements now available are equally important.

All IMHO, of course.

 

shave as much or as little as you'd like. I like every other day becuase of time limitations. When I do shave, I take my time though and enjoy it.

 

Whatever works...

For me, it's often twice a day. Same old story...not because I need to, I want to.

 

Everyday because I can and have to. "Can" because I use what I consider the best tools for my particular face to provide an effortless shave (R41, Feather blades, cream whipped in Conk Nickel plated bowl) and "have to" because of salt and pepper stubble (more salt than pepper as my daughter mentioned this week).

Atm I shave like once a week, but I'm gonna try shaving every 2 days and see how my skin reacts.
