How to tame a feather?

    I never said that corking doeant work. I believe it will work and it will remove any burs or slight edges or anything left from grinding the blade. I think that the factory should do that them selves and corking should be necessary. I would never my self cork a blade. With there being so many blades out there that are just as sharp as feathers without the first shave problems people experience, I dont see any need to go out of my way to cork a blade. Astras, Gillette 7 o' clocks, Irridium Supers are all just as sharp as feathers but leave the factory without any problems. I dont think feathers are very smooth and thats why I dont use them. If you want to cork a blade, than be my guest, but I think you just havent found the right blade for your self.
