Just try to have fun. Not everyone gets that bad of a birthday.

It's different for sure, growing up in the North GA mountains, to coming out on the North Pacific coast. Culture, and climate shock to say the least. And no need to thank me, it's not so bad.

I stayed home and played videogames on my 21st birthday. I'm still not much into alcohol. :)

The drinking age in Georgia was 19 when I turned that age, so it was more memorable than 21 was to me. There were times in my younger days when I would drink an entire case of beer in one night. I get far more enjoyment now from having one or two beers with good friends than I ever did back then.

I would drink less, a lot less. Probably the best thing would be to keep it simple. Maybe a nice evening with friends? Doesn't have to be a birthday party, just a nice time.

I'd buy as much Apple stock as I possibly could as the price for it then was a mere $27/share in March of 1981. :D

Ok, so spend my life savings on penny stocks. I like that plan.

I've never been much of a drinker, but I do appreciate a drink from time to time. Craft beer, or a nice wine. Occasionally a whiskey.

Go to Beth's Cafe in greater Seattle. Get an omelette (they use 12 eggs per) and some Amish bread.

I spent mine in the house. I had a nice glass of wine and enjoyed a movie. I had a relaxing day

I was in the service when I turned 21. I took a vacation day and took the day off. No family around that's for sure. Spend the day with some friends.

Taking the day off started a tradition with me. I never worked on my birthday ever again. I figured it was my personal holiday.

Why don't you go hunting for some shave gear? Look up some local antique shops, and see if they have vintage shaving gear. If you have questions, post some pics and we can help identify.

I found 3 straights and a nice SE on my last birthday. I'm going to make it part of my birthday tradition.

Treat youself to a nice meal at a local restaurant. Don't settle for a popular franchise chain. Go where the locals go.

Are you stationed at JB Lewis-McCord?

It's not so bad... I got people delivering me pizza after all. I just hope they don't forget the smoked salmon this time.

My birthday isn't until the 16th, I'm just trying to plan. There isn't much to do up here that's in my taste, since I'm not vegan, most restaurants here are completely different than what I'm used too.

Yes sir, I just don't know of any good local restaurants. All the ones we've found are vegan, or girls in bikinis. Haha

Right on. I tried the vegan diet....it lasted until I finished my salad....then I ate a nice medium rare bison burger . I feel your pain.
