Heading into a warm weekend

 

It'll dry out from some pretty heavy rains over the past 24 hours, then we'll begin a slightly warm, sunny week ahead with highs in the mid 60s. Presently it is 48 at the airport in Baton Rouge.

 

Dodging heavy rain drops.

 

Snow is getting heavy. We are bracing for a blizzard, within the next few hours. Forecasts are for 1-2 feet of snow & high winds. Thankfully, our fridge is well-stocked, we have plenty of snow salt and neither of us has to be anywhere today.

 

These kind of posts would be a lot more helpful if we knew where you live. It would, for example, be amazing to find out that you live in Palm Springs, Sara. Just sayin'.

Snow in Eastern PA and NJ...the worse is yet to come tonight.

 

Good point. I live in Staten Island, NY. Much of the northeast is getting hit with this storm.

 

Battening down the hatches for 18+ inches of snow predicted in the next 30 hours.

 

Sunny with a hight of 70F and a low of 40F. A nice day!

 

The snow let up overnight, but then, around 7 AM got heavy again. It has also gotten much windier.

 

With apologies to y'all in the NE, it will be a sunny 77 F here is south Texas today.................

 

It's also been unseasonably warm and sunny here in the NW. I think Saturday it was 66. Today it should just be sunny and in the high 50's.

 

Whew! They were calling for 6-8 inches here in Pennsauken, NJ (right across the river from Philly) and we may have only gotten two!!
