I expect to move from the Houston area to the hill country when I retire. Fewer mosquitoes and hurricanes.

it is very much late fall, early winter here....tomorrow is supposed to be the last day we see 50 degrees for a long time, with temps dropping into high 30's for highs and snow knocking on the door by thanksgiving.

 

That is great. We are in a severe drought here. Plus, we have two major forest fires blazing. We could use some of that rain.
