Cold and rainy....but at least almost all the snow is gone from the random blizzard at the beginning of this week.
Yeah that's what living in the mountains will get ya. A 50° spread is on the broad side, but a 40° spread is actually typical pretty much year-round. It sure makes the 90° dog-days a helluva lot more bearable when you have sub-50° nights! Today was another absolute gem. 36ºF/2ºC at 6:30 this morning and 84ºF/29ºC this afternoon with just enough of a breeze at about 10 mph and 10% humidity. Now with any luck we'll have a plus 500-inch snowfall this winter and everything'll be right as rain!
Today it was sort of cool...low '60's, and cloudy and overcast. Tomorrow (9/13) I have a golf outing and it's going to be more of the same. ics:
There's a couple of scrapers from this past winter in the back seat that never got used at all! Actually, check that...just turn the wipers on and let's see what happens...
It's really amazing the temp difference when you're inland about 35 minutes from SF. Fortunately, a cooling trend is on the horizon.
It has been a very nice day. Clear blue skies, no wind to speak of and around 17-18 degrees. A very rare condition this time of year.
Where are you? It's 64 and partly cloudy here in ohio. getting ready to start a bon fire and eat outside burgers and fries yum yum
Lots of smoke from a couple of wildfires burning somewhat nearby, but it looks like it's starting to blow out this evening just a bit.
