    Fall is definitely here in Idaho. I am ready though, I like the change and I am tired of gardening until next year. Not having to mow 2 acres wont be too bad either

    We had an intense squall line go through the area yesterday. Knocked out power and trees in a lot of places. Walked out this morning to 58F...nice.

    cooling down fast. It will be a high of 73 today. Normally we have 75 & 80 until later October. I have ridden the Harley all years some years but apparently not this one. I thing we will get snow this year and we do not always get it.

    Right now it's wet, grey, and about 64 degrees Fahrenheit. The temp has already dropped like 4 degrees and by this evening will be in the mid to low 50s. Yay.

    And WHAT is with this NorCal hot weather? I'm so ready for Fall.
    But this is normal, I suppose. Today is my middle son's 25th birthday—and I do recall a qtr century ago, that early October CAN be warm. We didn't have A/C back then in our home, and let me tell you—hot weather and a fussy newborn & toddler is not an experience you wish upon anyone…;)
