It's very warm, well it's summer, however in general it's rather cold as for this year

 

72 degrees already here in Central NJ. High is supposed to be 92.

Supposedly, right now it's 91 degrees F (mid-evening), and a 103 heat index because of the 61% humidity.

Hey, it's pretty dry now. We've had thunderstorms today. I have to go to someone's house and do some tests and estimates on whether or not their flat panel TV's can be repaired cost effectively - after a lightning strike. The insurance adjuster told them to take the TV's to Best Buy for an estimate.


Geek Squad won't even come to the house for a TV less than 40+ inches, and they don't repair TVs! Their 'warranty' is a replacement.

The rainy season in Phnom Penh (and nearby Saigon) runs roughly June-October, with rain of increasing frequency and duration as the season marches on. This time of year the rain rarely lasts a full day but comes in cloudbursts which flood the poorly drained streets to knee level (with fetid water) with some frequency. It beats the hot season though, once the rain stops and flooding subsides, the clouds keep the temperature below the miserable triple digits we get March-May.

Makes me think that the Vietnam Vets from southern Louisiana must have wondered why everyone complained about the weather over there.

Here in AZ we've got the lovely monsoon season coming in. Occasional quick thunderstorm, but mostly just low 100's and fair humidity. Only time of the year we really get humidity.

 

91 and humid here at Exit 8 off the Jersey Pike. Feels like temperature is an even 100 degrees. On water bottle number 5

 

It was 95 when I left home about 40 minutes ago, and I've been pouring sweat. The humidity is only 41%, but the heat index is still 103. Sitting under a tree, not bad. In a car, cooking.

 

About the same here in North Georgia. 93° with 50% humidity . Heat index 103°.

 

Yeah, I guess I can't complain. The other day was 73% humidity, and I'm pretty sure that last weekend, there was a 100% humidity day. Was interesting. There were streamers of steam coming up off of the ground, the ground was so hot, and the rain so light at that point.
