We may get our first snow in the mountains around here. Freezing level dropping to around 4000 feet and rain coming in off the Pacific Ocean.
I'm surrounded by mountains and they always get the first snow. Morning news showed it snowing heavy in the numerous mountain passes. One pass has already been closed for the winter. Down here on the water its 45 deg F and a gray misty day.
it's in the upper 80's during the day (really, very low 90's) and low to mid 70's at night. Normal for Houston, except we're not getting the normal rain pattern that I'd expect. _not_ taking Harvey into consideration.
It looks like the sun is beginning to break through those clouds here in NJ, but the temperature is not expected to go up beyond 60F/15C.
A chilly 38 degrees here at stately RetLEO-07 manor. Had to bring a bunch of Herself's potted plants into the garage last night
It was a bit nippy out there as I headed up to the train station this morning. Thank goodness that NJ Transit has the heat on in the trains already.
You heard me correctly, Chief O'Hara. I distinctly heard him bragging about the garage being full of pot plants.
The mornings are getting frosty, but the days still get up to 70 or high 60's. Quite odd for Massachusetts in mid-October.
Al Napier should have won a Grammy for the Batman series....I mean, after all, if he doesn't answer the red phone, Batman&Robin don't set up the crooks to be arrested.
Cool, lots of rain......I hope this signals a turning point in the temperature so we can FINALLY have autumn.
