I got some samples of Castle Forbes the other day. The scents were disappointing.

 

I like them but refuse to pay the price. I had there ASB which was nice but pretty much the same as TSD AS milk. Maybe a little thicker. I do find there lavender SC some of the truest smelling lavender though. My face is just not friends with Lavender I still love the scent though.

 

I love the lavender CF. Just a bit too spendy for me right now. I already blew my "good clean fun" money on something else. How does TOBS lavender compare in scent?

 

I expected all the CF scents to blow me away, and it just didn't happen.

 

People think they are all that b/c they are expensive but as you know price doesnt mean jack when it comes to shave cream quality. Frasers is the cheapest and kicks ass. People have this thing in their head that b/c they spent so much on a SC that it is working for them. That is one reason blasted TOM so much b/c it was cheap. Honest to good the stuff is some of the best SC I own and provides the slickest and most moisturizing lather. People thought just b/c it is $4 and came from a tree hugger company and came in a toothpaste tube that it sucked? Those of who I sent some to....Fuzzy, Rodd, Dr.Mike, have all like it....and they are all honest as can be. That is one thing that all of us of honest as can be. If something suck we will say. Noxzema SC is lovely but most people despise the smell? Why candy coat it if you think a product sucks? Anyways....WAY too much coffee .....Heading to he parents house for some yard work.

Yeah, I expected too much from an overpriced product. The KMF line is like TOM. Comes in a plastic tube, 5 bucks for 4oz, but it gives more than 5 bucks worth of performance. One of the better moisturizing products I have tried. I can skip balms and lotions so saves me even more $.

Yes... I get so steamed... you can see the anchor in my eyes.

Yes, it really freaks people out when I do that.

 

Sorry Justin, no sledges anymore. Had one of those too but sold it about 2 months ago. Too heavy and it was very slippery in the hand.

I agree. Some people seem to think that the more expensive something is, the better. The TOM shave cream is a superb shaver. I just don't dig the scent.

Caffeine doesn't really affect me either. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
