I can attest to Tracy's weather. Got an email from Mom (who lives in western SD). They're shut down and socked in w/ wind and snow. It's a chilly 62 here right now. Brrrrr. :D

Bought a power washer at Costco today and was all excited. Got home and the darn thing wouldn't suck soap from the reservoir like it's supposed to. I've been wanting one of those forever and finally found this one at a good price. <sigh> Already returned it. Darn it.

On the up side, got another Amazon gift cert in the mail today. Tube of GFT Coconut on the way. :happy088 Still have 6 or 7 bucks left on the cert. Might have to find a nice AS now to finish it off. Musgo perhaps?

Gonna watch Pineapple Express w/ the fam tonight. Looks funny.

It was bleh. I ended up turning it off half way through. There's funny stoner comedy and there's unfunny stoner crap, and this movie swung too far towards the latter.

Best of luck with the weather, Tracy.

Have a great night everyone. I'm going to hit the sack.

Someone remind me tomorrow to update my shave cream sample thread please.

    Thanks.

    Goodnight, moon.

Wow that's expensive! UB gives out free organic vanilla chapstick in the health and wellness center (and yummy tea and back massages) I just forget to use it as often as I should.

edit: doh... that's for 12, that isn't a bad price then.

2nd edit: UB's has SPF15 too which is nice :)

Burt's Bees works for me. ;)
But yeah, my lips have stubborn drying & chapping issues.

My lips stay moist and pliable with the magically supple kiss of delicious bacon grease.

    Good Morning everyone!

Dom, update your shave cream sample thread.

Ah yes, college health centers. The closest I have ever been to being completely stoned out of my mind and it was due to their conflicting prescriptions. I might have been higher than a kite, but I was completely healthy when I came down.

No thank you on the bacon grease.

Used Provence Sante soap this morning. I can't believe how much lather it produces. It didn't feel that slick or moisturizing, but I got a great shave out of it all the same.

    24° here this morning...WTH?

Good morning everyone! Getting little one on the bus here shortly, gotta work tonight. Gonna try the IM stick and splash today.

My newest NEW is of the shorter toothed 'coat hanger' variety, while the other NEW I have is of the longer toothed variety....the bar handle fits both base plates fine. :happy088 So I guess I'll be doing my own shaving experiment this week! :D

Morning everyone. It looks like it has quit snowing but the wind is till howling. I have a 5 foot drift in my driveway. Would probably take me about 2.5 hours to clear a 15x15 section. I called in the reinforsements. I decided that I didn't care what it cost me to have it plowed. Until he shows up I am stuck at home. Wife is supposed to be on a 2 hour delay today. I am thinking they will eventually just cancel. Every road in and out of Buffalo, including 2 interstates, is closed.

wow....that much snow and a 2 hour delay? Schools and many businesses here close with 1" on the ground!:ashamed001

We really didn't get that much snow. I bet we only got 5-6 inches but the wind has just drifted it like you wouldn't believe. Part of my driveway has no snow at all. Unfortunately about 1/3 of it has the drift.

Tracy glad to here you came through the storm ok. Hard to believe how quickly the weather can change sometimes.

Oh, ok. Oops.:ashamed001 :happy102 Even though, we had 6 inches this in January and the schools were closed for 2 days, and a 2 hour delay the 3rd....ridiculous.

Glad it wasn't too terribly bad for you then....sucks you'll have to pay to get plowed out though

We always seem to get one big storm in the spring, I hope this was it. Sure would be nice to get back those 70 degree days again.

School around here try to go with 2 hour delays when possible. As it is this year schools have had to reschedule graduation and summer school with the bad weather we had this year. Between flooding and snow we canceled far too many days. The state is putting pressure on us to cancel fewer days. They are tweaked about the days we did take off. Hmmm... If all the state offices in Indy (where the weather wasn't as bad) closed for their "bad" weather and we were in a weather emergency where police were urging everyone to stay home, I guess we should have made every attempt to have school and to ensure every student attended. Because the school did close on those days, they are getting chastised by the state (who closed their offices at the first hint of a blustery day).
