Not to bring shaving talk into the HYD thread, but I shaved with the Super Adjustable this morning. I didn't think it was much different than the Slim. I'll use it the rest of the week....

 

Surprisingly, even with some hardcore RAD, I've yet to get an adjustable. For some reason they don't really appeal to me. I think I'd probably be too finicky with picking the settings and be too impatient to try them all. That and the price of Fatboys is through the roof. What in the hell is up with that?

 

I was that way at first, but I've come to really love them...in fact, I think I have a couple of slims I don't use.....

 

Ah jeez. If you feel the need to part with them and the price isn't too bad, my arm might be twisted enough to send you money. And if one of them happens to be from 1979, you may not have to twist too hard.

 

I really enjoy the adjustables, too. At first I was changing the settings every shave, and wondering why I wasn't getting good shaves.... Plus that was when I was first starting out in DE shaving, and didn't have good enough technique yet, either. I finally settled on '4' for both my Fatboy and Slim. Although they both give different shaves (the Fatboy's head is taller), that number seems to work well for me.
