yay! screw Apple's overpriced, overhyped, "your social status is low if you don't pay us to make it different" attitude. the Ipoo is a good device, or it wouldn't have made it this long, but it's not the best, probably barely in the top 10 personal media players.

yeah, that's a pretty boneheaded move, things are going to get really terrible soon.
Matt hit the nail on the head - I don't respect him or his ideology, nor did I with Hill and Billy Clinton, but I do respect the office/position, even when I vehemently disagree with everything it's doing (same goes with Bush with the things he did I disagreed with)

I don't label them, but here's a thought, put clear fingernail polish over the sticker to help seal out moisture.

Good Morning all. Only up for a few more minutes before I need to catch some Zzzz's. I think I'm in trouble. I was looking at some really nice Pilot fountain pens and caught myself thinking "you know, $150.00 really isn't that bad for that pen, especially with that sweet integral nib." I'm five kinds of f**ked now. It's only a matter of time before I pull the trigger on a $150 pen I don't need. God help my poor bank account.

It's riding season, Corey... not that you or I have very much excuse for 'off season' in our states.
Get out and spend money on the bike, not on more crap that you're going to have to move when we get your a$$ back to Austin.

No bike at the moment. The Duc's engine seized up about two years ago and I sold the remains for what I could get. I think the previous owner just beat that thing to death and I just happened to be suckered into picking it up at the wrong time. Hell, I've had no luck with anything on wheels. The Duc died and the 87 Supra I put some money into getting back to running condition blew a radiator hose while out on the highway. Priority one is getting reliable 4 wheel transportation. Next month I'll be in the right way with school paid off to take on a small car payment, but getting back on a bike is a pipe dream at the moment. Though this coming week my dad's going to let me borrow his Soft Tail to tool around on. It's going to be a nice change of pace from being ass over elbows on a sportbike.

I would hope in 10 years I would still know what they are for....

OK... looks like we are going to go to the Crepe place and then go to Earth day festivities...

It will be awhile before wife and daughter are ready though... so I can post a little more first.

Bah, I should have remembered that.
So your dad has a Softtail too, huh? Mine is so proud of his... he waited for the 6spd tranny model to come out a couple of years back. :happy102
Kinda wish I had a 6 spd on the Warrior, but I have more displacement... I'll live.

So... no bike and no car project...
Oh, I know! Spend money on guns like I do. :D

Man, I've been close. Went shooting with a few buddies from work. One brought his 9mm Glock and his 1911 .45. The other brought one of his AR15's and a .357 revolver. If I had an extra $1500 lying around, I could see owning an AR15 or a 1911. Before the end of the year I'd like to pick up a revolver (dunno which make or caliber yet) and a Springfield Armory XD in either .9mm or .40 cal. And then there's the tattoos I've been planning for a while now. And the car thing. And that whole RN program I'm trying to get into for next January, so more school shit I'll have to pay for. Blah. Not enough money to do all the things I'd like to do.

    Mornin' gang.

I got the part of the lawn that *really* needed mowing done yesterday. Today is the last nice day in the next week or so, so I'm doing 'me' stuff, not yard work. Tops on that list is grilling teriyaki chicken. :D

not too bad up here, waiting on the storms to roll in :o
I really needed to mow, didn't get to mow last weekend for the storms, now this weekend is shot.
Looks like you've got about 3 hours before the heavy stuff starts getting to you, if it stays together that long, but even then AM was still posting from Austin, so it can't be that bad :D

I don't think I have seen my daughter get ready so fast in a long time. She didn't give me much time at all to post.

Special K did mention that a certain fuzzy wabbit was helping him decide to take the SE plunge. It looks like that wabbit helped him get an old style too. You are such an enabler! :happy102

Mornin' all. Speaking of bikes, whatever happened to Rogue? She rode off into the sunset I guess huh?

Well we walked to a place called Yoshis today. I got the chicken/egg/sausage/noodle wrap thing. Damn good, but now I need a nap in a big way. This is not good. Eyelids are heavy...............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

We have 'em Fuzzy. Great chow. Yoshis is a Japanese "fast food" type joint. Good chow too.

One thing I'll miss about down here is the great Mexican food. 'Course Denver has a pretty big hispanic population so there's prob. good food to be had there too.

Hey Brother.. seems like in the shave line we do not agreee on much at all:D but that is ok too.

I use to love their burritos. Eat them all the time. I would work my patrol schedule to be around one at chow time. I am sure Denver has a little of it all.

One thing I miss about bigger cities is the variety of good food. Here, in the SE corner of Washington state, there's a wide vairety of lentils.... yep, lentils. :happy102 We do have a lot of wheat, too. At least the fishing is good!

I think DC has the greatest variety of food that I've ever been near.

Probably the best food I ever had was in Edinburgh. Haggis and Guinness for breakfast - now that's living! Seriously though, if you could afford the tourist prices (I was traveling on business, so it was basically free), they had great restaurants. For real down home cooking in Scotland, you had to head to the coast, find a little fishing town and locate the local pub (or fish and chips joint). Nothing quite as good as a bundle of fish wrapped in yesterday's newspaper with a bag of chips and vinegar. Of course, it helped to have some antacid on hand for later...
