Oh. Lutefisk. I haven't tried the stuff, but I definitely don't want anything to do with it. Have you had Gjetost cheese? I picked some up in the grocery recently and a Norwegian friend of mine saw it and went nuts reminiscing about how she used to eat it all the time at home when she was younger (she's from Minnesota). I need to ask her if she's had Lutefisk.

 

Have you (or anybody here) tried the synthetic knots that goldennib is selling now? I am curious, but not about to get one quite yet.

I don't recall having that, but I had so many odd cheeses growing up in the cheesehead state... I know that I have had goat cheese but I don't know if it qualifies....

 

no, haven't had the urge to try one. though I did order a boar knot - man, that thing feels like it will expoliate brick! I'm sure it will soften up to a nice, scrubby_but_comfy feel after awhile, though

 

The only boar that I have used is the cheap VDH brush. So I suppose my sample wasn't that broad to start with. I have toyed with the idea of reknotting it with the synthetic knot.

 

Hey there Dominic! Got a question for you. I'm all out of the eShave Cucumber A/S cream sample and really wanna buy some of that good stuff. Where would you recommend buying it from?

 

Gonna turn in. Crappy day today weather-wise, but a decent visit to my cardiologist to start the day. Just need to exercise more and get my weight down.

Never liked the idea of those. Once they stop production of the machines, the end of the pods are sure to follow. Then you're stuck.

and honestly, while it's not the best tasting coffee there is, it is purt-near the easiest, most fuss-less way to make a cup of joe

 

I've got the kind of luck where the day after I finally break down and buy one, they'll stop selling the pods.

Yeah that is my luck as well. I do that with things all the time as soon as I find something I like, they are gone for good.

Glad to hear that you are still with us and you are just taking a break. We all need to do that now and then.
