Well, my day just got better and worse.... my relief in the morning called in and is going off sick. So now I am pulling a 24 - the upside is that it's at time-and-a-half...

yeah, OT has pretty much dried up for us, too. That's why I reluctantly agreed. I'm working my PT job Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, then come back here Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon....so I was hoping to be able to rest some tomorrow - now I'll be working 14 days straight w/o a day off. But when the opportunity to make more $$ in one day than I can in my whole PT job paycheck, I had to jump on it.... my AD's have been out of control lately...

 

What are these AD's you speak of... never heard of them.

To answer my own question, I see by paying attention to your stats that you are a Firefighter. What kind of schedule do you work? A friend of mine is a fireman and locally they works 24 hours on then 48 hours off.
